Hasshi Sudler is Chairman and CEO of Internet Think Tank Corporation and a professor at Villanova University's Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, instructing in cyber security and blockchain technology. Sudler has more than 30 years of experience in technology management.
Prior to founding his company, he served as a bilingual corporate strategist for a Japanese software firm developing UNIX graphical software. He later worked as a telecommunications engineer for Hitachi America, supporting major Japanese financial institutions. Between 1995 and 2001, he held numerous IT management positions at Morgan Stanley global investment bank, leading technology initiatives in its New York, Japan and Asia offices.
He has published and presented research on topics spanning internet technology, online piracy, distance learning, cybersecurity and blockchain. Sudler was awarded best paper by the International Applied Business Research Association for research on distance learning technology in 2003, the MIT Leadership Award from the MIT Sloan School of Management in 2013, the Villanova University School of Engineering Professional Achievement Award in 2016, and the Meyer Innovation and Creative Excellence (ICE) Award in 2021. He is a contributing author of two books: The Handbook of Research on Counterfeiting and Illicit Trade, published in 2017; and BLOCKCHAIN IMPACT!, published in 2021. On June 7, 2023, Hasshi Sudler, testified before the United States Congress House Energy and Commerce Committee on the state of Blockchain Technology and the importance of blockchain satellites for commercial and national security purposes. Hasshi Sudler earned his bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from Villanova University and his MBA from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).
Mohamed Abaas earned his Ph.D. in the Sustainable Engineering Department at Villanova University. Abaas’ research focused on investigating the impact of blockchain and AI / Machine Learning on improving the resiliency of microgrids through a cyber-secure energy trading platform. Abaas is a Fulbright alumnus who received his master’s degree in sustainable engineering through a Fulbright scholarship. He was also awarded 2nd place at the 2019 Blockchain Hackathon hosted by Villanova University.
Anitha Kannan is an experienced Adjunct Faculty Instructor with skills in Sustainability, Corporate Social Responsibility, Project Management, Team Building, Environmental Awareness, and Dance Instruction. Kannan served as a Research Technician at Villanova's Sustainable Engineering Program managing Masters and PhD research on Net Zero, Circular Economy, and Sustainable & Resilient Infrastructure and program management for industry based multi disciplinary research and consulting.

Michael LoParrino supports research studies in radiation induced errors on blockchain networks. As a recent graduate of Villanova University with a degree in Electrical Engineering and minors in Business and Entrepreneurship, he brings strong capabilities in applying his technical and analytical skills to solving research challenges.
